A Rs 40 Chai Stop and an Unexpected Conversation
“A random tea break in Bengaluru turned into a long chat about work, routine, and why small pauses matter more than we admit.”

I stopped for chai because I was tired, not because I had a plan.
The place was one of those tiny roadside counters where everyone stands, nobody stays long, and somehow conversations still happen. While waiting, I started talking to a software engineer who had just finished a night shift.
We spoke about sleep schedules, food at odd hours, and how easy it is to forget to pause when life gets fast. He said something simple that stayed with me: "Most of us are not looking for big answers. We just need better days."
That line felt more honest than most long speeches.
By the end, I had one cup of chai, a two-minute clip of steam rising in the evening light, and a short voice note about how ordinary people hold extraordinary patience.
Sometimes content comes from planning. Sometimes it comes from standing still at the right corner.
